Penguin Aricle
Penguins in the San Francisco Zoo abandoned there old habits of just sitting around in there burrows after 6 newcomers from Ohio influenced them to embark on a great migration. Within the first day of the new penguins came they had convinced all of the other penguins to jump in the pool and swim only stopping at night because of exhaustion. During the day they wouldn’t even come out of the water for food the zoo keepers were forced to go in the water and hand feed them. Every Thursday the zoo drained the pool in order to clean it when doing this the penguins would freak out and bump each other like pinballs. this group of penguins used to be a “coddled flock” meaning that all there needs were takin care of have it in there mind that thay need to take there yearly migration trip cinsisting of 2,000 miles to the cost of south america.
